Patient 1

Breast Augmentation

This is a 47 year old female who desired a fuller breast. She had a very active lifestyle and work out regime including lots of upper body and chest exercises. To avoid animation deformity and allow the patient to continue her exercises with no restrictions, Dr. Nini recommended a subglandular augmentation. She had moderate plus implants placed above the pectoralis muscle. She had a baseline breast asymmetry with the right breast smaller than the left. For this reason, she had a 250cc implant placed on the left and 275cc on the right. Photos taken at 1 year follow up appointment.

Individual results may vary.

Patient 2

Breast Augmentation

This is a 44 year old female with a history of weight loss. Following her weight loss, she felt her breasts lacked volume particularly in the upper portion of her breast. Dr. Nini performed a sub glandular breast augmentation with 325 cc smooth silicone implants. Photos taken at 4 months.

Individual results may vary.

Patient 3

Breast Augmentation

This is a 23 year-old woman who was interested in a breast augmentation. She desired to be a full C cup. She was 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighed 140 pounds. On examination, she was found to have nicely shaped B cup breasts without ptosis. Her pinch test was 4.5 cm. Because she had sufficient tissue to cover of the breast implant, Dr. Nini recommended a sub-glandular position. This would provide the most natural appearance without breast animation occurring during her workouts. At surgery, 400 cc moderate plus profile silicone implants were chosen. This is her result 1 year after surgery. Dr. Nini.

Individual results may vary.

Patient 4

Breast Augmentation

This 30-year-old woman from New Jersey breast fed 3 children and feels she has lost significant volume in her breasts (“post-partum involution”). She would like to return to her original C cup volume (her current bra size is 32A). Dr. Wey performed bilateral submuscular breast augmentation using a 350cc smooth round moderate profile silicone gel implant. Her current bra size is 32C.

Individual results may vary.

Patient 5

Breast Augmentation

This 28-year-old woman desired a breast augmentation prior to her upcoming wedding. She wore a size 34 A cup bra and desired to be a full B cup. As you can see, she was quite thin and examination of her joints revealed hyper elasticity. Dr. Nini believes that this type of patient is at an increased risk for bottoming out. For that reason, we would typically recommend a silicone breast implant. A 250 cc moderate plus profile device was placed in the sub-muscular position to reduce the risk of rippling in the upper pole. Her photographs are taken one year following her procedure with no evidence of bottoming out.

Individual results may vary.

Patient 6

Breast Augmentation

This patient is a 22-year old who was referred by a family friend who has had a breast augmentation by Dr. Nini. She is 5 feet 1 inch tall, 114 pounds and wears an A cup. Her goals were to achieve a medium C cup. In the office, she had selected a 250 cc device. However, at surgery the plan was changed slightly to accommodate her wishes. Because she had so little breast tissue, Dr. Nini used the dual plane technique. A 300 cc high profile silicone implant was ultimately chosen after trying several different sizes and profiles intraoperatively. This case demonstrates the benefit of trying different “sizers” intraoperatively and not settling on a number that was chosen preoperatively. Her photos were taken 6 months after her procedure.

Individual results may vary.

Breast Augmentation

Patient 8

This 29-year-old woman desired a modest breast augmentation. She was particularly concerned about separation of the implants and a widened space between the breasts that she had seen on other people. Because of this, I recommended a subglandular augmentation. She is 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs 118 pounds. Mentor 250 cc moderate plus silicone gel implants were used to enhance her breasts from a 34 B cup to a 34 C cup satisfying her goals. Photos taken at 6 months.

She is thrilled with how natural her breasts appear. Current bra size is full B small C.
