MicroLaserPeel® by Sciton
At Plastic Surgery Arts of New Jersey Med Spa, we offer the MicroLaserPeel®, a light-to-medium resurfacing treatment that removes the outermost layers of damaged skin. This treatment reveals smoother, healthier skin and provides noticeable results with minimal downtime.
What is MicroLaserPeel®?
Often called the “weekend peel,” the MicroLaserPeel uses a precise laser to gently remove a thin layer of skin. This stimulates new cell growth and collagen production, improving texture, tone, and clarity.
It offers deeper resurfacing than Moxi, but with less downtime than HALO or more aggressive lasers.
What It Treats
- Fine lines & wrinkles
- Sun damage & pigmentation
- Uneven tone & texture
- Mild acne scars
- Enlarged pores
- Dull, tired-looking skin
What to Expect
- Topical numbing cream is applied before treatment
- You may feel warmth or a mild stinging sensation during the procedure
- Redness, swelling, and a “sunburn” feeling for 2–4 days
- Skin feels tight, then begins peeling/flaking as new skin appears
- Most people are ready to return to normal activities within 3–5 days
- Results are visible quickly and continue to improve with collagen remodeling
Who Should Avoid Treatment?
Not recommended for patients who are:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Using Accutane or light-sensitive medications
- Recently tanned/sunburned
- Experiencing active acne, infections, or cold sores in the area
Before You Book
A skin consultation is required to evaluate your skin and determine the right depth of peel for your goals.
MicroLaserPeel is perfect for patients who want smoother, brighter skin with a short recovery time—an ideal option between lighter treatments (like Moxi) and deeper resurfacing (like HALO).
