What is HALO®?
HALO is a dual-wavelength laser that resurfaces the skin both at the surface and deeper levels at the same time. This unique technology gives powerful results with less downtime than traditional resurfacing lasers.
It’s known for delivering the “HALO glow”—skin that looks smoother, clearer, and more radiant.
What It Treats
- Sun damage & discoloration
- Uneven skin tone and texture
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Enlarged pores
- Scars (including acne scars)
- Early signs of skin laxity
What to Expect
- Topical numbing cream is applied for comfort
- You’ll feel a warm prickling sensation as the laser works
- Redness and swelling similar to a sunburn for 2–3 days
- Skin feels rough (“sandpaper texture”) for 5–7 days
- Peeling and flaking as new skin reveals itself
- Results improve over weeks as collagen builds, with long-lasting improvements after just 1–2 sessions
Who Should Avoid Treatment?
Not recommended for patients who are:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Using Accutane or light-sensitive medications
- Recently tanned/sunburned
- Experiencing active acne, infections, or cold sores in the area
